Shipping Policies/Methods

Shipping Days

As of November 2, 2004, we will ship items on Tuesday, Thursday, and either Friday or Saturday unless requested otherwise.  We will make an effort to ship items as promptly as possible for those who need them quickly.  We will ship items at 10:30 am Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and by 11:30 on Saturday.  Any orders placed after the specified times may be shipped on the following shipping day.

Methods of Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated by the shopping cart when the order is placed

Priority Mail

Most packages are shipped via Priority Mail.  Priority Mail is an excellent choice for shipping.  Most packages reach their destination in 2-3 days and this method is not as expensive as express methods.  Priority Mail shipping charges range from $5.70 - $9.00 depending on the weight of the package, with most packages costing $5.70 - $6.00.  A delivery confirmation is included with this method.

Express Mail - US Postal Service

This includes either 2-day or overnight shipping.  

Fed -EX Express

This includes either 2-day or overnight shipping.  

Express Shipping

There will be an additional $3.00 fee assessed for expressed shipping.  This includes: all packages shipped 2-day either by the US Postal Service or Fed-EX, and all packages requested overnight by Fed EX or the US Postal Service.  Express shipping requested before 12:30 pm will be most likely to reach their destination at the expected time.  However, overnight packages requested late in the afternoon through the US Postal service may or may not reach their destination due to distance and timing.  Rates for overnight shipping increased in January 2004 at Fed-Ex and the US Postal Service and most overnight fees range from $30.00 - $40.00 depending on location and weight of package.  Overnight shipping charges will be calculated by the shopping cart when the order is placed.
